Prior to the merge with Colchester General Hospital to form ESNEFT, Ipswich Hospital made the move from manual to fully electric low height patient trolleys in 2017. The hospital wanted to make a conscious effort to improve patient safety and reduce the risk of manual handling injuries amongst clinicians. They have since chosen to standardise with Howard Wright trolleys, and have introduced the M9 series of Trauma and Transfer trolleys into a number of areas within the hospital.

Staff at Ipswich Hospital have become strong advocates of the M9 series, and we are pleased to have recently supplied the Emergency Department at their sister site, Colchester General Hospital.
