In 2016 Royal Glamorgan Hospital underwent a complete trolley replacement programme in their A&E department and chose Howard Wright as their preferred supplier, making the switch from manual trolleys to low height electric trolleys. In the subsequent years they have chosen Howard Wright trolleys for their Endoscopy ward, Surgical Assessment Unit and Radiology. Their sister hospitals at Prince Charles, Princess of Wales and Dewi Sant have followed a similar path replacing all their A&E trolleys with Howard Wright.

On Friday we completed our most recent delivery to the Endoscopy Ward at Royal Glamorgan. The department requested the M9 Trauma specifically due to its high height capability. Not only can the M9 Trauma lower to a class leading low height, but it can also achieve a maximum height of 1005mm when used with our 125mm PREMA pressure reducing mattress, making it an ideal solution for departments with taller clinicians.
